Old Man Al
aka Al, Albert, Alfred, old man, feisty boy, buddy, and the golden child of our pack
02/13/2008 - 01/28/2025
We adopted Old Man Al in September of 2020 at the age of 12 1/2 from The Philly Bully Team. You'd never guess his age with the way he acted, always keeping us on our toes with his antics. He didn't have a favorite food or toy as he loved them ALL and deserved to be spoiled with ALL he wanted. He always did everything teeth first which could strike one as a little scary but he was all love, most of the time lol. He could give quite a side eye at times to let you know how he really felt. Al loved vacations and got to take so many with us. The boy loved heat, the closer he could get to the fireplace or a firepit the happier he was, as well as snuggling under all the blankets. He did have a few things he hated, drive thrus made him go ballistic so we took him out to our favorite restaurant instead, the vacuum/swifter/broom so daddy would take him for a far walk or a ride in the car, just outside the door wasn't far enough, and baths but with bad skin some things you just gotta do. He was a hunter at heart and tried hunting every chance he got, chickens, deer, cats, mice, he did bring us a possum and a frog. We are so very lucky to have had the chance to spoil him and give him the best life in his senior years, he hung in there till almost 17! If you're reading this give his rescue a follow on insta or facebook, PhillyBullyTeam, we've learned so much about the rescue world from them. In addition to mommy and daddy he leaves behind his girlfriend of almost 3 years, Penelope. We all love and miss you Al
