“Tiberius Spock  (March 15, 2011 to January 30, 2025) was flown from Palestine, TX to Fort Gordon, GA in 2011. 

Tiberius favorite past times was laying and watching movies with his grampie, getting full body messages from his grammie, helping with laundry and making the bed as well as being a mamas boy.  He also enjoyed guarding the walking path from our deck and windows. 

At Ft. Gordon he enjoyed chasing leaves, 

At Ft.Bragg he enjoyed seeing the mail carrier Erica daily they became good friends. 

At Florida Tiberius enjoyed watching the squirrels & sunning himself with his sister Laya on the lani. 

He visited the New River Gorge, Daufuskie Island, Grandfather Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Gulf. 

Tiberius was the best friend I ever had. He was so gentle, protective, and loving! His personality was the best, he always had ways to make you laugh from “ dancing on his hind legs”, to talking back, his silliness is what made your heart melt for him. Tiberius will be greatly missed and forever loved. We will meet again just not yet. “

Sunlight streams through the window pane

unto a spot on the floor….

then I remember,

it’s where you used to lie,

but now you are no more.

Our feet walk down a hall of carpet,

and muted echoes sound….

then I remember,

It’s where your paws would joyously abound.

A voice is heard along the road,

and up beyond the hill,

then I remember it can’t be yours….

your golden voice is still.

But I’ll take that vacant spot of floor

and empty muted hall

and lay them with the absent voice

and unused dish along the wall.

I’ll wrap these treasured memorials

in a blanket of my love

and keep them for my best friend

until we meet above.
