Obituary of Paws Bleecker

Royce, Blue Cheese, Paws, you were renamed Paws because you were so cute stretching your paw and flexing your claws. You had us at the first stretch. I can still see the wonderment in Robbie’s eyes. From the moment you came into our lives you brought joy to everyone you met. We were your feline tribe. I will never forget how you stalked Robbie as if he was a cat, jumping on him to play attack.  You welcomed BW and shared your territory forming an alliance keeping moles, mice, and birds at bay. As our family grew you taught Canto and Kevin the ropes, passing on your role as the dominant cat as you aged but always commanding respect from the pack. You brought joy wherever you went, becoming a highlight to the children and neighbors in Diamond court. At this point in time the circle of life stinks. We miss you so much. Our lives revolved around you, and I know you had a long happy life being pampered with custom made sleeping quarters, fancy water fountains and gourmet food.  I will miss opening the fridge to find your food bowl filled with shrimp, tilapia, chicken, or salmon. Bella and Willy will no longer be able to plan ways to sneak into Robbie’s room to eat your food and Kevin will become even fatter now that your food will be passed onto him. You filled our lives with love, compassion, and joy. Our hearts are broken with your passing, but we will never forget you and our memories will continue to make us smile. I hope wherever you are, you are with BW and Conto and are hunting and catching birds and rabbits as you did when you were young. When it is my time, I hope to meet up with you again so I can hear you purr and pet your soft fur again.
