Simon was found at 9 months old late on February 21, 2008 by a family friend before an ice storm. He came to his forever home 6 days later where he enjoyed the next full 17 years of his life.Simon was a character from the beginning, from playing fetch with socks to climbing anything he could get his paws on. He would beg to be fed only to try to steal his pet parent’s food right after. He was always interested in what we were doing and enjoyed dancing with us around the house.Our little adventurer moved with us across the country - first to Hollywood, CA; next to New Orleans, LA; and back to West Chester, PA. He was very affectionate and gentle, enjoying being held and sitting on our laps for hours. He would snuggle at bedtime and always enjoyed cuddling for naps in bed and on the couch. Simon was such a loving cat and his absence is noticed everyday in all the little ways. 

Simon’s last song was “I’ll Be Seeing You” by Billie Holliday.
