Obituary of Lydia Deetz Glacken
Please share a memory of Lydia Deetz to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We unexpectedly lost our sweet Lydia Deetz, who fought bravely against feline leukemia for the past two years. We rescued our Sweetsy Deetzy from a friend’s window well, and turned her from a feral cat into the most spoiled, loved little house cat. She was sweet, mischievous, and the best snuggler. She smelled like strawberry shortcake and had the cutest princess paws. She was raised by a Chihuahua and believe me, you could tell.
Lydia had a way of getting into everything – sneaking into ceilings, stealing pizza slices, and somehow ending up on the couch upstairs. She always kept us on our toes, and we loved her for it. Against all odds, she survived two extra years beyond what we expected, showing us what a true warrior she was. At only 7 years old, her life was cut short, but we know the love we had for her filled those years.
