Obituary of Belle Davis
Please share a memory of Belle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Belle was rescued in December 2013 and she has brought so much love, joy and positive energy to our family over the past 11 years. We are so sad to see her go but take solice knowing she is resting peacefully after a short bout with cancer.
One of Belle’s favorite games was to play “Chase” around the house with her older brother Joey. She also was extremely skilled at finding that perfect spot in the family room where the sun would pour down upon her for hours and no food was ever safe if it was left to close to the edge as she perfected the art of “counter surfing”.
She took great pride in her role as protector of the family as she would rush to the front door and bark aloud if anyone came to close to the house….. sorry about that Amazon + food delivery guys.
But she truly enjoyed just snuggling with her older sisters Gabrielle and Sofia both in their beds and on the sofa while watching TV and was in her “happy place” when getting belly rubs.
She also loved getting her ears rubbed by dad on Sundays while watching the Eagles game and was always found at the foot of mom’s side of the bed whenever mom was reading, watching “Real Housewives” or sleeping.
And don’t get me started on how Belle’s eyes would light up when her grandfather Poppy would visit with his “Poppy cookies” or when her fur-brother Levi came to visit and play.
Please take care of Pop-Pop George and Mom-Mom Grace up in heaven. We love you very much Belle and miss you dearly.
