Obituary of Ginger Richie

Please share a memory of Ginger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

We adopted Ginger a snowy day, two days before Christmas. She was the runt of her litter- a rescue from a puppy mill and she stole our heart. She refused the crate and would cry until we let her out because all she wanted was to burrow next to a warm body and slumber and snuggle. She was a snuggle butt, a companion and a best friend. She loved to run on a leash or through the backyard. She ran like a bunny, fast and fun. She was fearless protector, sweet consoler and our best friend. She was everyone's shadow and the biggest kisser. If you were sick or crying, she was on your face to make it better. Her nighttime heat pad of a body put everyone to sleep; she tucked each of us in. She was our family and we were hers. Sleep well, now sweet,  young Ginger. Your pack is okay. We will remember you always, speak of you often, and laugh at your antics. I hope you are enjoying french fries, salmon and retrieving a football somewhere over Rainbow bridge. We love you always.
