Prince Buchanan, whose full name was Prince George Alexander Buchanan II, came into my life when I needed him most. I had just lost my grandfather, who was like a father to me, and that’s how he got his name. His mother, Princess Allison, was my first cat and my first responsibility. When she had him, he chose me, and I felt so honored. Pets are family, so losing them is incredibly painful. He was such a handsome boy, and I often wondered how I got so lucky. He entered this world with a big head, ready to conquer it, and he cared for everyone who came into his life.He loved hogging the blankets, swatting at people with his tail, stealing food, and playing with hair. He was deeply loved and loved me unconditionally. Prince was a huge part of my childhood; I had him since I was ten, and I’m thankful for the almost sixteen years he spent with me. Not everyone gets that long with their pets, and I’m really proud of the moments we shared. His memory will always be cherished.
