Obituary of Funbun March

On April 10, 2025, the world lost the most innocent soul as God called Funbun home to cross the rainbow bridge. 

Funbun was an unexpected gift from God and will be greatly missed. 

He did not have an easy beginning of life; he was born outside in the elements and was the sole survivor of his litter mates. 

While Funbun loved his momma, the imprint was deeply rooted into his daddy’s heart creating the most magical bond in the world.

His momma had a song for him “Funbun baby you’re my Funbun baby”

His favorite times included playing with his daddy and toys, binking with lots of zoomies around the apartment. 

He had a nightly routine of watching tv with daddy at bedtime (falling asleep next to his daddy) Funbun could always be found at his daddy’s side.

Favorite foods included, Lots of Oxbow Timothy Hay, Fresh Greens (Dill above all other rabbit approved greens), bananas, he also loved pea flakes and the occasional Teddy Cookie. 

When the cookie jar rattled, he came running.  Daddy would sing a song as Funbun would circle and dance with him before eating his favorite treat.

“Cookie, cookie, time! I want to eat, its cookie time, let’s get some cookie time, I WANT MY COOKIE TIME!”

Favorite toys included stacking cups, stacking rings, and loved his tunnels.  He watched the entire series of Cobra Kai, Dexter, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 

Every morning his daddy would also sing to him a good morning song and give him lots of love to start the day. 

There is a hole in daddy’s heart without you here. Daddy loves you so much and will see you again my bun son. Until then may you bink and zoom around with all your favorite foods, and toys. 

Funbun was loved by many across the globe as the Self-proclaimed official mascot of Shade45 on SiriusXM.

Funbun, my bun son…there is not a minute that goes by that your daddy doesn’t miss you.  Every night I lay your bed blanket where you slept next to me.
