In Loving Memory of Bella

December 27, 2012 – July 6, 2025

Today, we honor and remember our sweet Bella—our first family dog, our gentle companion, and the heart of our home.

Bella came into our lives through a rescue in Pennsylvania. Out of all the dogs we saw, something about her stood out. I drove an hour just to meet her, and from the moment she walked up to me, I knew she was meant to be ours. I fell in love before I even met her—and that love only grew from there.

When Bella officially joined our family, it felt like she had always been with us. The kids adored her instantly, and she quickly made her place in our hearts. Everyone used to say Bella was lucky to have us—but we knew the truth: we were the lucky ones.

She gave us unconditional love every single day. Bella greeted us at the door with excitement, making even the hardest days brighter. She was smart, well-behaved, and always full of affection—if you stopped petting her, she'd give you a gentle paw to let you know she wasn’t done yet.

Bella loved the simple joys in life. She lived for car rides, always ready to hop in and go anywhere with us. And if popcorn was involved, even better—it was her favorite treat, and she never missed the chance to snag a piece during family movie nights.

She was more than a pet; she was family. She became a protective big sister (or mom) to our tiny Yorkie, Brownie, always watching over him with care. She loved going on camping trips in our camper and taking peaceful walks around the campground.

She taught us about love, loyalty, and the joy of being present. We will forever cherish the memories, the cuddles, the tricks she performed for treats, the car rides, and the sound of popcorn that somehow always brought her running.

Thank you, Bella, for all the love you gave. You’ll always be with us—in our memories, in our hearts, and in those quiet, everyday moments that now feel just a little too quiet without you.
