Cloe Johnson Obituary

Cloe “Bean” Johnson, our sweet, classy, and endlessly cuddly girl, crossed the rainbow bridge to Heaven in the early morning of August 19, 2025. Only a couple of months shy of 17, she was the kind of cat who brought calm, comfort, and just a touch of drama to our lives.

She never scratched the furniture, never showed her claws, and never bit—but she did demand the finer things in life. A true connoisseur, Bean turned down many tempting treats, but would happily accept Boar’s Head deli meat, a true Bronxite! (and she always knew if you tried to slip her the off-brand stuff!).

Her favorite toy was the simplest of treasures: a crinkly clear plastic wrapper or balled up starburst wrappers. Her favorite pastime? Cuddling super close, watching sitcoms, reality TV, or even Christmas marathons all year round’.

At night, she’d quietly perch above, waiting for the slightest twitch to signal her human was awake—then meow her demands for treats or cuddles. She loved sleeping on backs, making biscuits, and head scratches. She was sweet and cuddly, but also picky about who she spent her time with. More than anything, she loved her family as fiercely as we loved her.

Cloe Bean was prissy and poised, peaceful and gentle, full of so much personality. Anyone who met her would say; “wow, she is unlike any other cat”. She loved life and fought bravely until her very last breath, leaving this world with grace and love.

Now she joins her furry family and friends in Heaven, where we know she’s purring, snuggling, and ruling with her quiet, regal charm.

Until we meet again, sweet Clo Beany, my sweet girl- our home, our hearts, and our backs will always miss you and love you! ”
