Stanley 

To the person who burned the inside of Stanley’s legs. You didn’t break his spirt and he still loved all people unless they were holding a cigarette. 

To the person who kicked him causing his leg to not develop properly. You didn’t break his spirit and he still loved people. He came through the surgery and was pain free for the rest of his life. 

To the person who shot him with BBs. They remained inside of him until the end and you too didn’t break his spirit. 

Please know there is a very special place somewhere for each of you and anyone who harms animals. 

Thank you to the woman who lived in a trailer park in TN  but already had three dogs and could not afford to keep him. She called a rescue because what happens to strays in that county is not anything you can get your head around. The foster in GA who took him in and to Eleventh Hour Rescue in NJ for transporting him…..thank you.  Most of all to his absolutely wonderful foster in NJ who picked us to adopt him. 

Thank you to Springmills Veterinary Clinic, their vets, technicians and support staff, for their outstanding, kind and compassionate care during his lifetime.  They are all the very best. 

To Laps of Love and Doctor Sara…..thank you.  And finally thank you to Paw Prints Forever.  You accommodated each of our special requests.  

Even cancer did not break Stanley’s spirit. He was happy to the end.
