My sweet boy Casper gained his heavenly wings after a short fight with lymphoma cancer. Casper was one of a kind dog with a fun-witted personality. Although Casper’s start to life was dark, he was a gentle giant and loved his humans, his siblings, including his dog brothers and sisters, as well as his kitty sisters who were his boss. It was no surprise, based on Casper’s character, that he loved any animal that crossed his path. One of Casper’s favorite things to do was eat and he would wait for his mailman friendto come in his truck to get his treat. Casper loved to hoard his mommy’s workout mats while she was exercising, lay on them and watch movies cuddled up with his mommy, he was unforgiven when he overtook his mommy’s stability ball by climbing up on top to push it toward his mommy to give her a big fat wet kiss, but would not retreat and give it back. Casper was a very sloppy kisser. Casper loved to repeat an action if it put a smile on your face. Casper loved to please. He did some funny and quirky things. Casper learned very quickly to give mommy a kiss to get a treat. Casper was a highly intelligent dog that could have easily made the police force. Casper followed hand signals precisely, although he had all his faculties. Casper loved to scoot around the backyard at a high speed like the road runner in Saturday morning cartoons. Casper enjoyed taking long walks around the neighborhood with his fur-sibling Bella, playing ball, pushing on his squeaky toys with his nose, and playing tug of war. Casper loved being a good boy and thrived on hearing “you’re a good boy.” Casper made his mommy so proud and was beyond measure, a really “good boy.” Casper you will never be forgotten, your name will be said often, and you will be forever missed and forever in mommy’s heart. Fly high and scoot around the clouds my precious boy. You are free. You deserve nothing less than the best. Mommy loves you and will see you later.
