In Loving Memory of Porter
March 20, 2017 - October 24, 2025
Our sweet boy Porter crossed the rainbow bridge on October 24, 2025, in his beloved backyard.
Porter spent the first three and a half years of his life as a city dog in Philadelphia, where he strolled on Main Street in Manayunk like he owned the place, hiked in the Wissahickon, and kept the dogs in line in Pretzel Park.
After the city, he turned into a full-blown suburban dog – barking at mailmen, greeting his fellow neighborhood dogs, and laying in the sun or playing with his human brother, Rhys, in his big backyard. And he loved traveling to his three “vacation homes” in the Poconos, East Norriton, and the Peninsula.
Porter will forever be the best dog, best big brother, and best grand dog. He lit up a room as soon as he walked in, with his handsome face, airplane ears, and double curl tail. We will always remember him by his funny quirks, such as biting the vacuum, hopping like a bunny while chasing a stick, and making us apologize every time we sneezed.
We will always think of you when we open the cheese drawer, and there will always be a comfy pillow on the couch waiting for you. We love you and miss you so much.
