Obituary of Jack Daniels Miles

Jack Daniels Miles was a fun loving Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen born April 21, 2008. He joined the Miles family in July of 2008. He loved everyone he met, they were “new” friends to him. Jack was locally known as the “mayor of the neighborhood”. He watched from the front door of his home and greeted everyone entering the neighborhood. When he took walks he frequently made sure he stopped at different homes for his friends to come out and see him.

Jack was loving, fun, and was very regimented in his ways. Jack made sure he spent time with each of his family members during the day. He never left anyone out. Jack had rules about what he was doing and who he was doing it with. If you weren’t the right person for a particular activity he could get ornery. He was no fan of bath time but kept his complaints to a minimum. Each night ended with a special treat. His favorite meal was anything cooked on the grill. It is possible that he got his own portion cooked for him on the grill at times.

One of his favorite joys was to play in the snow. He loved tunneling when the snow was taller than he was. If fact, it could be hard to get him to come in from playing in the snow. He found joy when his nephew, Nacho Costa,  came along. They were a pack, the oddest of pairing but they were a team. Jack had numerous aunts and uncles from ValleyPoint Church who made sure he didn’t miss any treats.
