Obituary of Todd Monastra
Please share a memory of Todd to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Todd was a lovable, goofy, and easy going rabbit who blessed our family and home with many great memories together!
I remember bringing him home when he was about 2 years old, introducing him to our dogs (Rex and Frankie), and watching him explore his new home somewhat timid but very curious. He was confident around the dogs and held this same confidence later when we got a kitten (Kiwi). Binkying and flopping his ears when he was happy, causing confusion for the other pets, Toddy was very easy going and relaxed. I swear he would even flop his ears when he thought we said something ridiculous!
As our bond grew over the years, he would return my affection by licking my arm! I remember the first time Todd licked me while I was grooming him; I was confused, then overjoyed when I learned this is one way rabbits show their affection! As he got more comfortable with my partner (boyfriend at the time, and now husband), he would even lick his arms! It was great to see we all had a mutual love for each other.
We loved having him as part of our family, learning his personality, and seeing what his favorite fruits, veggies, and herbs were (answer: banana and cilantro!) And we have very fond memories of our sweet Toddo!
We miss him every day, but are finding peace in knowing he is no longer in pain.
Love you, Toddy!
