We have lovely memories of Max when we visited the US.
We remember how he enjoyed his bath. He would only enter the swimming pool elegantly down the steps and when he was on a walk he would just sit down if he decided he had gone far enough. He was a really loving character.

Max, or Mr. Max as I called him, was just an amazing being. He was an immediate friend to any human or animal. If walking on the street a dog would bark at him, he would simply look at the dog with this expression that seemed to say: "What's the big deal? Why cannot we just get along." He left so many fond memories not just for us as his immediate family, but for so many other people in three different states. Tracy, Ashton and I will miss him terribly and he will always have our love. RIP our friend - you definitely defined the phrase "man's best friend" for me.

Max will always be the dog that made me want a dog of my own. Always sweet, happy and comforting to be around from beginning to end. I’ll miss him but am glad he’s running around pain free in pup heaven.

Max was the sweetest dog I have ever known - everybody was a friend he'd not yet met. He never ever barked at another dog. He was the most gentle soul and the best friend you could ever have. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life, but we have many many great memories of our life together in Virginia, Alabama and Pennsylvania. I wouldn't have missed a single minute.
