Obituary of Chase Broyles

Please share a memory of Chase to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Chase Broyles peacefully crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on April 29, 2021 with his Mommy by his side.

Shortly after Chase became a member of the family, he earned many nicknames.  Ittle Wittle, Chasey Wasey Boy were just a couple.  He fit right in from the start.  In addition to being a lover of his custom bed that his Momom and Daddy made for him, some of Chase’s favorite activities included going to the beach, car rides, drinking his Fiji water, being blow dried after a bath or swimming, independently opening the gate intended to keep him out of certain places.  Chase also enjoyed playing with his mountains of “babies”, tennis balls and his sister.   Chase also was a big fan Giggiybites and visiting his friends at Wagsworth Manor doggy daycare and Dairy Queen ice cream with “spinkles”.  He closed his eyes when he ate his ice cream and savored every lick.  He may hold the record for taking the longest to eat a dish of  ice cream.  Chase celebrated his 10th birthday in style.  He had a birthday party compete with balloons and decorations celebrating his 10 years of life.  He had dog themed treats for humans and even sent home goody bags for his cousins.  Chase loved everyone he met and knew that it was his intended purpose on this earth to brighten the day of anyone that he crossed paths with.  He was the friendliest German Shepherd you could ever meet.

Chase was born on May 20, 2010 and 7 weeks later, met the love of his life and his Mommy met the love of hers.  More than anything, Chase loved his mom.  Chase and his Mommy had an incredible bond.  He was always at the door to greet her with kisses and furry tailwags.  He was her constant companion and support system.   Chase was there through heartache and grief, moving to a new home and right by her side through many happy moments they would celebrate together.  Chase was good at a lot of things but the thing he was best at was loving his Mommy.  He gave her the best unconditional love.  Chase lived to make his Mommy happy.  The connection that Chase and his Mommy had was a once in a lifetime thing.   While his Mommy loves all of her furbabies, there was a special bond  between her and Chase.  She will miss Chase everyday for the rest of her life.

Chase patiently waits on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge to greet  his Mommy and Daddy, little sister Ava, many other small rodent brothers and sisters and Shane, his cockatoo brother. Chase is also survived by his grandparents, Kim and Sonny Broyles, his Auntie Cwyssal (Crystal), cousins Alayna and Cole, Blaze, Turkey Bacon and Franklin Freckles.  Chase was predeceased by his great-grandfather Jr. Broyles and great-grandmother Helen Broyles, cousins Fred, Misty and Jellybean.

At the request of Chase’s family, please give your furbabies an extra treat, snuggle, walk or sip of Fiji water in Chase’s memory.

You’re my love, my life,

The air that I breathe.

You’re my soul, my happiness,

The all that I need.

You’re my light, my dark,

The start in the sky.

You’re my ups, my downs,

The reason I try.

You’re my strength, my weakness,

The love from the start.

You’re my heartache, my pain,

The beat of my heart.

You’re my tears, my joy,

In the love that you bring.

You’re my world, my galaxy,

You’re my everything.
