Obituary of Angel Lennon Patton

Please share a memory of Angel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

My sweet girl Angel went to doggy heaven a week ago today.
Born in VA beach on January 12, 2008 and lived in North Carolina for a couple of years and Delaware for the remainder of her life.
She was the sweetest and most gentile giant dog.  She loved her niece and nephews so much, especially when they dropped food or snuggled with her.
She enjoyed playing tug of war with her rope toys, tossing her stuff-less stuffies in the air and catching them, bones with meat or peanut butter in them, sitting outside on her deck watching the yard, and snuggles.  She loved her snuggle time the best.
She loved to kiss everyone!! And just wanted to be around humans as much as possible. She loved her cat siblings and slept with them huddled around her.  Her most annoying favorite cat brother was Nasir, who couldn’t get enough of her and kissed, scratched, and massaged her daily.
She enjoyed every car ride and no matter where we were she would mimic any siren that was blaring past, it was hilarious and so perfectly accurate.
Her walks with Mama and her other favorite human Blair were her happiest times of the day.
She loved smaller dogs and would allow her puppy friends to jump, nibble, and romp around with her all the way up to her last days.
She loved the snow and cold weather and would romp outside forever in it. She also loved the beach and running after tennis balls in the early morning hours.
She was my favorite girl in the whole world. Day in and day out, she loved me and I loved her, best friends forever, we were.
I miss how soft her ears were, how she knew to place her head under my hand for head scratches and love. How she was still a lap dog even over 50 lbs and almost 14 years old.
I could say so much more about my loving companion but the most important thing is that I was so blessed to be her mama for so long and that I know she felt loved and comfortable for all those years.
I miss her terribly but I know her spirit will always be with me. I miss u, my sweet Angel!!
