Obituary of Mindi Berger

Mindi girl / Mindi bear passed away peacefully January 7, 2022 at 9:10pm, crossing the rainbow bridge in the comfort of her home, when she was ready, in the arms of her  family. Born approximately May 31, 2008, Mindi became the princess of our family September 6, 2008 from Forgotten Cats.

The very moment our eyes met, I knew Mindi had adopted me as her mommy. In happy tears I held this sweet little bitty-of-a-kitten (smallest of her litter and named Bitsy by the shelter). I told her she’d be our princess if she’d come home with me. And our princess she was. She stole her human daddy’s heart her first day with us when she peed on his chest while he was napping on the couch.

Mindi loved playing on the floor with her daddy and enjoyed sleeping near him on the couch each evening. Mindi loved sleeping on her mommy’s pillow snuggled up together all night long. She was our little shadow full of love.

Our family gave her a furever home full of love, but mostly she gave us that unconditional love only she could provide.

Survived by her human family and her furbrother, Cookie, Mindi will be in our hearts always. When we look at her favorite places in a sunbeam or look up to see a rainbow, we will think of her.
