I cried so hard the day you left

I felt so all alone.

But when I searched into your eyes

I could see that you had gone.

Just yesterday you licked my face

I didn't know 'twould be the last

To feel your nose upon my cheek

Just once more is all I ask

But then I prayed to Jesus

Please watch over my best friend

And He told me He would hold you

Until we meet again.
