Obituary of Milo Fahey

You were larger than life in so many ways.  When you came to us from Main Line Animal Rescue ten years ago — following the relentless campaign of a very persistent 12 year old boy — you had already had a rough start.  You were so thin and needed love.  

You blossomed with the attention of our whole family and quickly became the dog that everyone knew and loved.  Although some people think you had a favorite, you had a special relationship with each of us.  We all will miss you terribly, but will forever treasure our happy memories — early mornings with Mom, games of fetch (with your own unique rules), keeping the boys company when they did their homework, coming to the door covered in mud (and running away from anyone trying to clean you or anything else), rushing outside to “guard” our yard or greet anyone and everyone walking by, hiding the same Milk-Bone multiple times in the most obvious places, just sitting by our side when we needed it, and of course the walks and walks and more walks.  The house is already too quiet without you.  

It broke our hearts to have to say goodbye, but we know your pain is now gone.  If love alone could have kept you here, you would have lived forever.  You are gone from our lives, but never from our heart.
