Ichabod Jones 10/31/2005 to 10/29/2022

Ichabod was one of a kind. Many times on walks people would stop us in our tracks and ask where we got our beautiful girl and if she was some kind of designer breed. They'd be surprised to know that she was adopted from the Houston SPCA in 2007. It's hard to believe that this beautiful girl was there for over a month, and it's thought she was patiently waiting for me. Ichabod touched so many lives with her friendly attitude, infectious happiness, and big beaming smile, affectionately called her "Big Icha-Beamer." To know her was to love her.

She was an accomplished food shaker downer, bird catcher, and bug slayer but she would never dare let her paws get wet. Afterall, a Queen must always be presentable.

I am so thankful she chose me as her person all those years ago, and later accepted my husband into our pack, otherwise I would have had to rehome him (husband, not Ichabod).  Ichabod is survived by her mom, Lyndsie; dad, Steve; fursister, Indiana; and human brother, Rhys. There is an Ichabod sized hole in our hearts, and even though she rarely made much noise, the house feels so much quieter. We take comfort in the fact that she is able to run free and not be in pain. We love you so so much our sweet Ichabiscuit.

P.S. I forgive you for stealing my chicken.
