Obituary of Pappy Kane

Pappy Kane Downey 11/10/04-11/7/22

Pappy looked like a little princess, but was in fact a fierce warrior. She battled lymphoma 3 times in her last six years of life and despite numerous set backs, she would always bounce back. 

She died 3 days shy of her 18th birthday and she gave us a lifetime of memories. She was highly intelligent (too intelligent for us as she could figure out where we always hid the scooby snacks!) and like most Papillions, she had great agility. 

She ruled the roost in our family and enjoyed her role as a little Napoleon Bonaparte bossing around our pit bull and our numerous cats. Many entered our home thinking she was a docile lap dog and found out the hard way that she enjoyed nipping fingers that came her way. 

She was our baby and we loved her with our whole hearts.
