Losing My Best Friend Mork
2014-2022
Mork came into my life May of 2014 at 4 months old. We met, I took him home and he was by my side from then on.
We started the morning together while he sat in his chair while I made my coffee and his breakfast. He loved to grab his leash for a walk or look for my keys to go for a ride in the truck, watching everything around us. He also enjoyed riding in the RV to the beach. He was a door opener and would go searching for me if I wasn't around. When I had to leave, he always sat in his chair at the window and watch me. He was a very talented dog in many ways. Once when working on the roof I turned and there he was right beside me-he had climbed up the ladder to give me a hand.
Mork never growled but loved to sing right in time with my harmonica playing. He loved hugs. If you were lucky enough to have Mork visit you, he would come in and sit on the kitchen chair waiting for his snack.
How did Mork change my life? He showed me unconditional love, trust, fun, companionship, loyalty, and obedience.
Mork got sick on Thanksgiving, went to the vet and received only bad news. I stayed by his side for 2 weeks. We were never apart and sadly I was by his side as he crossed the rainbow bridge.
I will always remember my time with Mork. Enjoy spending as much time with your Best Friend while you can. Life it too short for a dog.
