Obituary of Digger Frusco

Please share a memory of Digger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce Digger also known as best man ever and buddy, passed unexpectedly on December 25, 2022, at the young age of six at his home comforted by his mom and grandfather.

When Digger was first brought into the family as a puppy, we quickly knew we had our hands full.  A crate was no match for Digger.  He often escaped, found a way to turn on the television and wreak havoc throughout the house.  He feared his own reflection, car rides, delivery drivers and the random non-existent things that he would half bark at daily.  His silliness created constant laughter throughout the home.

Digger treated his toys like gold gathering them into piles that he would sleep with and never once destroyed a toy.  He was a day drinker with his favorite toy being his bottle of Toto’s Pawdka.  Television remotes are another story, and we quickly became one of 1-800 Remotes favorite customers.

We often thought Digger had psychic powers.  He always knew when someone was coming home.  He would wait at the door to greet you minutes before you arrived and always slept in his sister’s bed during the day but only on the days when his sister was arriving.  He always knew exactly how you were feeling and what you needed and gave you every ounce of his love to make a bad day brighter.

Digger loved long walks on the beach, the sun, cuddling on the couch with every blanket, pillow and human he could round-up, laying on shoes, ice falling from the ice maker, cleaning the kitchen floors and watching Philadelphia Eagles games with his dad.  He enjoyed visiting his mom and dad during work in their home offices and was a fan favorite on Zoom calls.  What he loved more than anything was his routine feeding times, nightly bedtime treats, and stealing all the room in the bed from his gramps.  His morning kisses were the best!

He will forever be missed and forever remembered.  We will always cherish the time we were lucky enough to have with him.

In addition to his mom, dad, grandfather, sisters and brothers, Digger is survived by his niece and best doggie friend, Scout.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you give your furry family members some extra love in memory of Digger.
