Obituary of Steven Andreasen

Steven Andreasen earned his wings on March 23, 2023

Steven was an extremely affectionate, loving, special, and wise soul. 

Steven loved his daily backyard walks, where he intuitively walked by his human’s side.  He’d come when asked, or when it was politely pointed out that he was walking too far out of the yard with a, “Are you supposed to be over there?” He sometimes responded with a happy little sprint.   

Steven also enjoyed soaking up the sun while laying on the patio daybed.  Gardening days and summer happy hours by the fire were among his favorite moments. 

At 12, with arthritis and one kidney, Steven effortlessly ruled his household.  His much younger siblings had a natural respect for him, and submitted to him with ease.  At times, it was hilarious to watch.  Often, he did not have to do much more that puff out his chest, and they knew to get out of his way when he wanted to be the only cat in bed or on the couch with his humans. 

Steven endured, overcame many health struggles over the years, and truly thrived. His vet even called him her “miracle kitty.”

Steven was a tough little guy imbued with tons of love and magic.  A fearless and Zen soul, nothing ever shook him.

Bestie, we hope you have found endless sunshine-covered cozy spots on which to lounge.  Thank you for all of the love and comfort you authentically gave.  Love you forever.
