Obituary of Ryder Collins

Please share a memory of Ryder to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Ryder crossed the rainbow bridge in the early hours of April 10. Gratefully, he was able to close his eyes for the last time while being held in the arms of his best friend. Lance and Ryder were best friends for almost 13 years. Whether it was watching the ballgame, going for a walk every night, going for coffee, or taking their Jeep to the shore - they loved being together. Ryder lived up to his name. He loved being in the car and didn’t care if the ride was 20 minutes or two hours. One of his favorite trips was going to Cape May and watching the sunset from the beach. He loved spending summers at the shore house with his Grammy. He took his Chief of Security role quite serious. He had a busy job of patrolling the yard, barking at the mailman, supervising Lola, Levi and Diamond, and sitting watch from his favorite chair in the screen house. When he wasn’t on patrol, he could be found napping. Ryder took chilling out to a new level. He was one of a kind and a true family dog. We love you buddy and life will be strange without you. In honor of Ryder, we ask that you take a walk or a ride with someone you love.
