Kids who entered my house, especially if you triggered his Nerf gun PTSD! Before he settled in with us many years ago, he was abused, neglected, and angry he took a lot of work but was loving and loyal to the end. There were no signs leading up to anything being wrong until it was wrong, and losing him was so unexpected. The hardest thing about taking your pet for emergency help is they separate you, but thankfully I was able to hold him and be with him in his final moments when we knew the measures to save him weren’t working. Benny, there will never be another like you, and I’m not sure what I’ll do without you pacing around the house with me. We will miss and love you forever.
