Obituary of Meena Datta

The word Meena in Hindi, means precious jewel, and that's exactly what she was to us. 

Our precious jewel, who's pure soul was filled with innocence and love.

She touched the lives of so many people, and filled their hearts with joy.

Even people not considered pet lovers, she found a way to win them over with her charisma and charm

. She enjoyed going on long walks, hikes, running around in the backyard,

sunbathing on our back patio, or just relaxing with her family. 

She was always ready for a snuggle, pet, a scratch behind her ears, or under her chin. 

She was a regular at our dinner table, a connoisseur of yummy human food, especially pizza crust or Indian rotis/naans.

She did not bark much, but was always able to maneuver through life with a silence and grace that endeared her to so many.

  Meena will be forever in our hearts. We take solace that she is at peace in the company of

all our beloved family and friends who have passed before her.  She will be sorely missed and remembered by her parents,

3 brothers, grandparents, countless family members, and many friends.
