Our Sweet Marvin
Marvin aka Marvy Boy aka Captain Marvo aka Buddy Boy. The runt of his litter and a recuse dog in every sense of the word, Marvin arrived to our home in Philly with a few special quarks. At only 40 pounds (maybe less when he was groomed of all of his beautiful black floofiness), Marvin always managed to find the biggest dog to play with at the park. His favorite dog though was his big sister, Mika, who taught him everything she knew. He loved his walks in the city and howling at fire trucks. He really loved chasing birds, leaves, and the shadows of both. When he wasn’t bouncing around from couch cushion to couch cushion for licks and chomps (his special way of giving kisses), he loved his squeaky toys and helping his mom chop all the veggies and fruits he could crunch. Once he made his big move to the suburbs and to a house with a backyard, he realized his true calling in life-tennis ball chaser. He was the first one awake each morning and the last one to sleep each night. His big brown eyes looked up at you and instantly melted your heart. He brought so much happiness into everyone’s lives with his infectious energy and love for literally anything in his path. He will be forever missed, but never ever forgotten.
