Obituary of Bonnie Chermak
Please share a memory of Bonnie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bonnie, A.K.A. Bonster, and her litter mate brother Blitz came bounding into our lives in the spring of 2015. She was a fierce watchdog and guardian but unlike many German Shepherds, Bonnie was very loving, allowing hugs and kisses, which is not the norm for a shepherd. She loved fetching a ball and when returning it in the house would drop the ball in her water bowl before returning your sopping wet gift. Bonnie would do all of her own nail maintenance by propping her paw on top of a ball and gnawing down her nails. Bonnie was excited for Christmas time as she enjoyed unwrapping her presents. Sometimes during the night you would wake up to see Bonnie's face resting on the edge of the bed staring at you inches away from your face.
We may feel robbed by Bonnie being taken from us just past her 9th birthday but are reminded by how much love and affection she bestowed on our lives.
So Bonnie, as you cross the Rainbow Bridge, you can be excited knowing that Baron, Shadow, Rex and Roxy are waiting for you on the other side, and know that all of us will be reunited one day.
