Pirate was my baby, my best friend, my companion, he helped me through all of life’s ups and downs. He was a tiny little dog with the biggest personality, he was equal parts serious and hilarious. We were always laughing about his smug attitude, and we didn’t treat him like a dog- and he knew it. He truly thought he was human. He would become best friends with anyone that would come over, whether they liked it or not.
Anywhere we went, he would go. From restaurants, pool days, family parties, the beaches and mountains, this tiny boy was always up for an adventure. Can you imagine a 9 lb Chihuahua hiking 5 miles at Bushkill Falls? Because Pirate did it, no issues, we were the ones forcing rest breaks on him!
Pirate was known for casually walking himself throughout the neighborhood for 45 minutes each day- worrying each neighbor- and for showing up randomly in our neighbor’s Kitchens just to say ‘hi’. He had more confidence in his little body than any of us ever had.
Pirate was loved tremendously for 17 years by his Mom, Maura, his Brother Crusoe and his stepfather, Kyle and Stepbrother, Ivan. He will be meeting his loved ones, Winnie, Tinkerbell, Pipi and Gus on the other side. We will forever miss you, Mr. Handsome
