Obituary of Kenny Balch

Kenny came to us 4 yrs ago when his mom (My wife's friend) passed away, and we couldn't see him being sent to a shelter.  He was very sick, but with a regular schedule of his medicine, he responded well.  He really enjoyed running on the beach with his "new" sister Heidi, and getting muddy on his woods walks.  We were told he probably wouldn't last but a few months, but he really enjoyed his new family and thrived.   He started declining about 6 months ago, and really couldn't go on his daily walks, but still enjoyed going to the beach occasionally in his "poodle pouch".  Yep, we would carry him on our walks with us so he could enjoy the outside.  Last night and this morning we knew he was going to pass soon.  He did enjoy a last romp in the yard and passed peacefully in my arms.  Goodbye Kenny.  I'm sure you are with your mom, enjoying your walks on the beach.  Thank you for being a part of our life, even for a short time.
