Annie was my best friend and the sweetest dog that there ever was. She was always there for me when I needed her the most. She kept me company during some of the darkest days of my life. She slept with me every night before my son was born. She got anxiety whenever I would have to leave her. She seemed to have a place in all of our lives when we needed her the most. She loved to bury her bones, toys, and treats into her blankets in her bed or on the couch with her nose. Her favorite spot to lay in was in the bay window in the sun so that she could look out of the window. She always had so much energy and loved to go on walks for hours. She loved her belly, ears, eye wrinkles, and under her chin scratched. She always felt the best and at home snuggled up to one of her loved ones. She loved to please the ones she loved by doing sit and paw for a treat. Whenever you would call her name she would look at you and tilt her head to the side. It was the cutest thing ever! She had an underbite and her bottom teeth would always stick out. She didn’t like baths, but was such a good girl and would let you bath her and wipe her paws anyway. She never complained about having to put her sweater or coat on. She got so excited when she saw her coat because that meant she was going to go on a walk. On walks she would pee about 10x throughout the walk marking her territory, or to prolong her walk. She knew when the walk was about to be over because she would always protest and not move telling me that she wanted it to be longer. Ever since a few years ago she started to slow down and her energetic spunk started to wear away. She didn’t chase squirrels anymore, or dart out the front door like she used to. I felt guilty because I wanted her to be with me her last few years, but I know she wouldn’t be happy living with a toddler on the second floor of the house with no windows to look out of. She kept my Grandmom company instead after her husband died. Just like she did with me after my sister died. My son Grayson would always run around after her and she would get scared. He would try to pull her hair or her tail and she never snapped at him for doing that. Even then, she was still the sweetest dog. I have countless memories of her that I will cherish forever! I wish I got to be with her during her final hours. She seemed fine, so it must have been a sudden heart attack. I wish she was closer to vet for them to buy us another year with some medicine. It makes me so sad that she had to suffer out in the Poconos with no help. I wish I got to give you one last hug and snuggle. She is with my sister now in doggy Heaven and I will never forget my time with her. I love you Anniekins.

Annie was the sweetest little doggie. She was a great source of comfort and joy to all of those that loved her. She would greet me every time I walked through the door, with a toy dangling from her mouth. She loved rubbies and treats. Her favorite people were her Dad, Jamie and her Grandmom. She will be greatly missed. Annie is up in heaven with her family enjoying herself and waiting for us to meet again. I love you Annie girl. Aunt Jen xo
