Obituary of Zoe Martin

Please share a memory of Zoe to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Zoe Martin was rescued in August 2016 by her mom, Jennifer. From the moment she was rescued, she was loved and very spoiled. Each morning when it was time for her breakfast, her mom would sing her a sweet little tune that said “Good Morning to squeak.” Zoe would sing back in return and she was given her favorite veggies: carrots, celery, lettuce and grapes. Her days were started always on a positive happy note. She spent most of her days out and about in her cage. One of her favorite activities was napping. She quickly became her dad, Scott’s favorite little work buddy as he primarily worked from home. She watched her little brother Ethan grow up to be 9 years old. Ethan loved Zoe very much. Zoe loved music that we always had playing for her next to her cage. We also had a light that she loved to lay under. We wanted her to be happy always and we know music and the warmth from her light was just the things she needed. Zoe traveled with her family a lot on trips. Her family always wanted to include her when they went away. She has been several places in her home state of Delaware, Maryland, Ohio and Pennsylvania. One of her favorite places to visit was to see her Nanny and Pappy and Aunt Kelly in Pennsylvania. Her favorite person in the world was her pappy. He and her shared a special relationship and he loved to feed her, hold her and give her “nose kisses.” She received lots of love each time she visited a new or even a familiar place. Zoe was kind and gentle. She was a happy little girl and she was the kind of pet that everyone loved. She outlived her life expectancy and we are grateful and blessed to have had her for as long as we did. We will all miss her immensely and we will never forget how she touched our lives.
