Obituary of Mufasa Vattimo

Please share a memory of Mufasa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Nani and Mufasa, we remember like it was yesterday when we met the both of you in 2012 and brought you both home. You were inseparable. You both played together, ate together, and even shared the same bone. Though you couldn't be separated, you had your own individual personalities. Nani loved to watch TV and barked at everyone. Mufasa loved his baby and enjoyed his hinny rub every night while sitting on our lap. Favorite dinner night was Thursday. How you both loved your fish. Every night you both enjoyed your vanilla ice cream with your blueberry pancake. Oh, you can't forget the jellybeans. The years went by so quickly, your health started to decline. To the point your tired bodies were showing their wear and slowly hobbling around the house. There were no more days laying on the couch and increasing accidents in the house. Even though your minds were keen, better times our furry bodies had seen. Gone were the days of youthful mobility, replaced instead with dignity. The gloom was there, we both could tell within our sight was the Bridge of Farewell. With cloudy eyes we gave you our plea, master the courage would you do this for us. Our bodies are now aching for our spirits to be freed. Be not burdened with guilt for this kind deed. Although the time has come, say not goodbye, for our spirits will soar back down from the heaven above. To dwell where our bodies once made their home. For our spirits in your home will remain alive. Our hearts are split in two, one side filled with memories, the other side died with the both of you. We will hold you both tightly within our hearts, keep you both safe in our house and never apart.

We love you Nani and Mufasa
