I remember when I thought getting a dog to protect my daughter, who was home alone sometimes, was a good idea. I found Gia on craigslist I think, and thought Pit Bulls were scary monsters. We went to philly and saw Gia. The helicopter ears and goofy face did it for me! The foster mom let us take her home and the rest is history. I don't think she was scary a day in her life! But I don't think she would have hesitated to protect Sarah. RIP my nut. You are missed. Hope you and the little are playing in the sunshine!
