Obituary of Wish Gillece

My beloved beautiful companion dog Wish, died peacefully at home on August 19th, 2024 surrounded
by her Family including her successor dog, Wilbur whom she loved, she was 13 years old.
Wish was such a beautiful, loyal, funny, protective and most important very lovable dog to all that knew
and cared for her over the years. She came to our family from Susquehanna Service Dog and we were
blessed to have her for 11 years. Wish was exceptional at knowing when someone in the house was
feeling anxious and was always there to intervene at just the right time. She loved to take walks and run
around the yard with Wilbur and her neighborhood dog friends as well as push her head up under your
hand so you didn’t forget to pet her. Five months before she passed away, Wish developed Cancer. A
few weeks of radiation, was all we could do which bought her a little time but not nearly enough…We
are grateful to God for giving us a few more months to try and learn how to let go. Wish will be missed
by all her family, friends, veterinarians, my other dog Wilbur and most of all me. I love you so much
Wish! RIP my Beautiful Puppy Girl!!!
