Our dear sweet Lily, you were so special and unique. A loving, goofy, faithful dog who brought so much joy to our family. The last few months have been hard, but you still enjoyed every moment to the fullest and almost made it to your 13th year. You loved road trips, you climbed mountains, you were by our side every day. It will break my heart to put away your toys and move your favorite stick pile from the lakeside. You loved your lake and "swam in your way" and loved being on any boat. You cherished our sunsets almost as much as you cherished your bed. You were obsessed with fishing and we will miss your whining and complaining when the fishing is slow. At the end, when we couldn't walk the lake anymore, you loved our morning pedal boat rides so you could still enjoy it. We will miss you deeply, our sweet girl, but now you are whole and healthy and causing a ruckus wrestling with River in heaven. I can just hear grandma telling you two to "knock it off". Lily, we will love and miss you forever.
