Radahn and his twin sister Ranni both came home together with us one day. He loved the attention from climbing up onto the tank’s glass to stare out at us and waiting for us to notice. He would wait at the door or wall with one of his hands up to give us a high-five, touching our fingertips through the glass. His favorite part of the day was when it was time for the tank to get misted down. He would hop out of hiding to enjoy the “rainfall,” and wait under some foliage to let the water droplets fall on him. We had only a brief time with him, but our time together was precious nonetheless. We will always miss you, our little buddy, but we take comfort in knowing that you will live on with us as long as we keep you in our hearts and memories.
