Milo wasn't technically my dog, but I still loved him like he was mine. I always loved all of the unique attributes and character traits that made him special - the breathing, the way he walked, his bark, the way he looked at you lovingly, and his unique way of sitting - they all made him Milo. I made a slow motion test video with him and even wrote a screenplay I wanted to have him star in! Seeing him in a short film would have made for a nice memory to revisit when we miss him, but we still have our own memories and pictures. Love you Milo <3

So sorry sweetie that you are going through this, they are a part of your family and you have such real feelings for them. It is so hard to let go. I would have never known but I experienced it my self a few years ago. I was lost! I pray for comfort for you and your family! Love You!

Our first memory of Milo, besides the adorable lion that he was, was when he went absolutely bonkers for an SPCA volunteer that just came into the room with lunch, McDonald's. He thought with 100% certainty that THAT McDonald's was for HIM. He was a charmer and very polite when he begged and jumped for, what he thought was, his meal. What a silly dog. I remember always worrying about his breathing and that I'm sure it could be distracting at night when trying to go to bed. But no one ever complained. It's one of the things I know we'll miss when trying to go to bed at night. Rest in peace my dear little friend.

My family and I adopted Milo from the SPCA of Anne Arundel County on February 14, 2018. Although we've only had him for a year and a half, I would like to think that we gave him a good life. Although it is never easy to say goodbye, especially when it is sudden and unexpected, he is no longer suffering and we will take comfort in that. May Milo rest in peace and thank you for taking the time to remember Milo. ~The Chang Family
