Obituary of Barkley Short

Barkley Short was born in Kansas July 24, 2004. He became a member of the Short family in November 2004. Barkley loved his two human brothers.  He later was joined by two furry brothers,  Bentley and Bailey. Barkley loved road trips. He loved being in the garden chasing birds and bunnies. Above all his favorite activity was eating.

“To call him a dog hardly seems to do him justice, though inasmuch as he had four legs, a tail, and barked, I admit he was, to all outward appearances. But to those who knew him well, he was a perfect gentleman.”
