Obituary of BC Manley
Please share a memory of BC to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
We adopted BC from Lancaster Humane, and he was the ultimate feline "fur baby". He loved laying next to me every evening and was more "dog like" than feline. I knew very few cats that came when you called their name...he was one of the few. BC would greet you at the door every evening when we arrived home from work and roll onto his side to be petted and pampered. He liked to play hide & seek and would make a little "chirping sound" when found. He loved playing with his catnip "butterfly" toy and sitting on the back of the couch in the afternoon just basking in the sun and watching the birds flying in and out of the Azalea bush.
He loved to receive kisses and just being close to me. He slept next to me just about every night. BC also enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore every summer, and would sit between us, on the armrest of the pick-up truck, just enjoying the ride. This may sound strange, but he really did act like he was on vacation when we unpacked and settled in. He was more relaxed and seemed happier at the shore.
He truly was the emodiment of pure love and gave so much unconditionally. I hope I made his life as rich as he made mine. I'll always think of him and miss our special bond as he truly was a gift of companionship and love, and a once in a lifetime cat.
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."
