I always knew you as a “cat person.” I would hear stories of Max’s escapades, but the day you decided to rescue a dog, I was so excited! Meeting Cali for the first time I knew she was special. She was so beautiful—all the way to the end. She had a human quality to her that is not found in all canines. Over the years you both have grown to be a part of my family. I will never ever forget Cali girl and her bright eyed approach to life and even on the darkest of days. She was a true gem. I never will forget her jumping up to greet me with two huge paws and her love to go on leash walks around the neighborhood. The walks got shorter but she still enjoyed every moment. Cali had a quality life with a lot of love and giggy bites. No four legged kid could want for more. Rest in peace Cali girl and hope Oscar, Cookie and many others are there to greet you on your next journey.
